Visitation

The courts have authority to grant visitation in many different forms. Numerous factors may be used by the court in determining a visitation arrangement. These factors include age of child, work schedule of the parties, past behavior of parties, medical needs of parents or children, educational factors of children, as well as any other factor that the court finds relevant to the visitation. The courts have a standard visitation guideline that they attempt to use where practical. In situations where the non-custodial parent lives out of state or a long distance away the court often will give the parent six weeks of visitation during the summer.
